I am a descendant of the Eagle Clan (Kwawungwa.) I live in the village of Hoteville in Northern Arizona. I am 67 years old and the mother of four children and five grandchildren. I am an experienced indigenous freelance reporter and writer. I do news, photojournalism, investigative reporting, tribal politics, community village meetings coverage, food, special interest stories on kids, or elders or anyone. I am an elder. I also am a former and independent writer for our Hopi tribal Newspaper, titled “Tutuveni”. I love writing and telling people what is going on in the world, communication is key. I am currently assisting in finding solutions to a community in turmoil by helping with meeting minutes, documentation/photography and village support. I am also a community consultant with the Sonoran Center helping advance disability support within my community.
