About Gabrielle Ficchi

Dr. Gabrielle Ficchi is a licensed therapist, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and professor in counseling and disability studies. She is COO and co-founder of Care 4 the Caregivers and CEO of New Perspectives LLC, where she provides disability-informed therapy for individuals and families. Her work centers on disability adjustment, identity, independent living, resilience, and caregiver mental health. A disability rights advocate for over a decade, Dr. Ficchi integrates clinical expertise with lived experience to promote dignity of risk, self-determination, and equitable mental health care. She also serves as full-time faculty at the University of Phoenix and conducts research focused on disability pride and independent living.
