About Melinda Luna

Melinda Luna is a LASARD Facilitator with LSU Health Sciences Center’s Human Development Center, leading district-level coaching and training to improve outcomes for students with autism and related disabilities. Since 2016, she has partnered with educators across multiple districts in Louisiana, providing intensive coaching across all grade levels. She supports schools in building sustainable systems for inclusive instruction, data-driven planning, and teacher collaboration. A former special education teacher, Melinda presents at statewide conferences and professional learning events, equipping educators and leaders with actionable strategies that strengthen classrooms and schoolwide practices.
