About Melissa Wojtak

Melissa Wojtak dedicated 27 years to the Peoria Unified School District supporting Transition From School to Work, serving as an Instructional Assistant, Teacher, and Strategist. She now brings her expertise to the ADE/ESS Secondary Transition Team, where she continues her passion for helping students successfully move into life after high school. Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a master’s degree in Secondary Special Education and Transition. Originally from New York, she has lived in Arizona longer than she lived on the East Coast and proudly calls it home. Melissa is a devoted wife and mother who loves traveling and spending time in Happy Jack, Arizona.
