About Monica Romero

Monica Romero is a Transition Specialist with the RSA Vocational Rehabilitation Services program, where she supports counselors and school partners in helping students with disabilities successfully transition from high school to postsecondary education, training, and employment. With over 15 years of experience in human services, including roles as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and DDD Support Coordinator, Monica has a strong understanding of both direct service delivery and cross-system collaboration.

She is passionate about making services more accessible, practical, and meaningful for students and families. She also works to make complex processes such as referral pathways and service coordination clear and usable for professionals and partners.
