Continuing Education

Conference participants can earn up to 16 continuing education credit hours (1.6 CEUs) for participating in the conference – 12 CE hours for the general conference and 4 CE hours for attending the preconference workshop. Continuing education credits are provided for attendance in every session (except for the reception on Monday evening).

All participants will be given Northern Arizona University Continuing Education Certificates. These certificates align with the requirements for ASHA and RESNA ATP certification renewal, Arizona OT license renewal, and ADE Teacher certification. Upon request, Arizona Department of Education Certificates of Attendance will also be available.

Additionally, we worked with the Arizona Rehabilitation Service Administration (RSA) to obtain preapproval for 10 CRC credits. These are applicable only for the general conference (Monday and Tuesday, June 3-4, 2024) and apply only to the breakout sessions.

Your CE Certificates will be provided using different processes, depending on your needs.

  • Northern Arizona University and Arizona Department of Education CE Certificates will be available at the registration desk at the end of the conference (on Tuesday afternoon, June 4) for the full 12 hours of the general conference.
    • Attendees of the preconference workshop will be given a separate CE Certificate at the end of the day (Sunday, June 2). These will be for 4 CE credit hours.
  • Participants who require verified hours for CRC, ASHA, or RESNA certification renewal, or who do not plan to be at the conference at the end of the day on June 4, will need to use the CE Verification Form (found in the conference bag) to have their attendance verified for each session they attend.
    • Room monitors will be available in each session to stamp your CE Verification Form so that your attendance in the session is verified.
  • For those needing CRCs, please do one of the following with your stamped CE Verification Forms at the end of the conference:
    1. Drop off your completed CE Verification Form at the registration desk in the box marked CRC, or
    2. Scan & e-mail a copy of the completed CE Verification Form to Natalie Guzman at

Important! Attendees are responsible for keeping their certificates and/or verification forms and submitting them to credentialing agencies as needed; duplicates will not be issued.

Reminder: For those using their CE Verification Form to track attendance, please make sure to put your name on the form immediately upon receiving it. We have no way to recreate stamped forms that are lost, especially if they do not have the attendee’s name on them.
