About Oliver Lyons

Oliver Lyons, MA, Research Associate, Institute for Community Inclusion, UMass Boston. His work focuses on increasing employment and community participation opportunities for culturally diverse transition-aged youth with IDD. He is a core member of the Lawrence Partnership for Transition to Employment (LPTE) which aims to help youth with developmental disabilities seamlessly transition from school to jobs in the community of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Oliver has also worked with several self-advocates to refine the statewide Summary of Performance document used by Massachusetts public schools to plan future goals for their transition-aged students to include more input from the voice of the student.
